Song For Feb – IDLE ‘A to B’

Tracey and I have been working on pre-production for this months video for a while now, with the shoot happening very soon I thought it best to mention the song.

This months song is the first new track by artist Idle, an indie boy converted to electro musician. Here’s a few words from Idle about the change up in style and the first track.

 I used to enjoy making melodic, vaguely dancey stuff with crunchy beats when I was a teenager. That stopped over the last few years in favour of officially being an acoustic guitar-wielding indie boy for a while but I’ve been enjoying programming drum loops and ditties again recently. A lot of it is through listening to Everything Everything and deciding that using really synthy-sounding synths can still make for nice tunes. A to B is the first track I’ve recorded since deciding that.

Tracey and I are looking at the capability of projections within video for this and the notion of movement/ travel as the title suggests.
